Activities Show 'Open Activities' and 'Activity History' Related Lists Despite the Default View of 'Activity Timeline'

Users can Set the Default Activities View to either related lists or Activity Timeline.

However, even if Activity Timeline is selected, they may still see the 'Open Activities' and 'Activity History' related lists.

The 'Open Activities' and 'Activity History' related lists will be automatically removed from the standard Record Related List lightning component if the Default Activities View is set to Activity Timeline.

However, administrators can still add the 'Open Activities' and 'Activity History' related lists separately by using the default Related List - Single components. These components will be displayed on Lightning record pages regardless of whether the Default Activities View is set to Activity Timeline.
