Build a Salesforce Sales Dialer Report

This article explains how to create a Sales Dialer report to track call usage in Salesforce.

Résolution

Follow these steps to track Sales Dialer call usage by first creating a custom report type, and then building a report based on it. 

Create a Custom Report Type

  1. Go to Setup.
  2. In the Quick Find box, search for Report Types.
  3. Click New Custom Report Type.
  4. Select Voice Calls as the primary object.
  5. Enter a name in the Report Type Label field (the Report Type Name auto-populates).
  6. Add a description.
  7. Select a category for the report type.
  8. Set the status to Deployed.
  9. Click Next, then Save.


To create the Dialer Report:

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. Click New Report.
  3. Select the custom report type created above and click Continue.
  4. Add the required fields and adjust the Date/Time filter to include relevant records.

Important Notes

 

  • The Status field in the Dialer Usage Report appears as Call Status in the report.
  • Call Results (enabled via the Log a Call setting in Setup) is not currently available for reporting.
  • Custom Task and Activity fields are not supported in this report.
