Often when Support and Engineering teams are looking to troubleshoot a customer issue, it is required to duplicate the customer environment.
Løsning
Support may request permission to use an internal tool to replicate the metadata of an org. It’s an Org Setup only and GDPR compliant metadata copy of the org. Data in the Org is NOT exported. 

With this export, Salesforce can troubleshoot issues without any impact to the Customer Org. It also supports more interactive debugging tools. 

GDPR Compliance
Data exported with this process is GDPR compliant from the Users object point of view. The tool obfuscates all the personally identifiable information (PII) for the Users object - first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address and username.
