Mass import folder in library via Data Loader

Step 1. Get Library ID

Library ID is needed so we can get the ParentContentFolderId of the library. ​​​​​​Get the Library Id to where you want the folders to be imported.

Step 2. Get ParentContentFolderId 

1. Open Data Loader.
2. Log in in to the desired environment.
3. Perform Export on ContentFolder object.
   

Notes: 

• Make sure to include Content Folder ID field or include all fields.
• You can enter this query if you want to export a specific library only:

Step 3. Prepare csv file.

Required fields:

• Name - Name of the folder to be inserted.
• Parent Content Folder Id - Starts with 07H. Can be found on the export file.

Step 4. Insert folders

1. Open Data Loader.
2. Log in to the desired environment if asked.
3. Perform Insert on ContentFolder object.
