Note: Long Text Area fields cannot be filtered in Salesforce Maps.
If the Marker Layer is being built on the Account object, the user can access any Account level field with Field Filters.
Field Filters also allow a user to look up the data structure. Typing the word Lookup into the filter box will display all lookup fields on the object. Selecting the lookup field will allow the user to add additional filters from a related object via a lookup relationship. The below example shows how to create an Account report with a filter for a specific user based on the User table.
Field Filters can be organized using Filter Logic to accommodate for more complex Marker Layers.
If state and country picklist are enabled, using State/Province two-digit code (example: MO for Missouri) you may see data if a state or province in another country has the same code, for example, MO for Morales, Mexico, filtering on one of the states or provinces can return data for the other. It is recommended to add the country to the filter criteria to ensure the expected data is returned.
