Unable to Delete Profile when it is associated with Section: Audience Criterion

Profiles which are not assigned to any users in an org, but are being used in the Audience Criteria section of a Community cannot be removed.

Another error that can appear: 'This profile is used in an experience. Only profiles that aren’t used in experiences can be deleted'
Løsning
Here are the steps to remove the affected profile from the Audience criteria.. 

1. Search All Sites in the Setup quick find box
2. Select the relevant Community
3. Select Builder 
4. Select Page Properties (The gear icon on the top left of the builder page)
5. Select Page Variations at the top right of the dialog box
6. Select Edit Assignment on the correct page variant
7. Remove the Profile to be deleted

Once these steps are complete, removal is possible.
 

If the issue still persists, follow the steps below to remove the affected profile as a Community member.

 

1. Go to Setup

2. On the Quick Find Box, type in All Sites

3. Click Workspaces across the Community

4. Click Administration

5. On the left side panel, click Members

6. Remove the affected profile on the Selected Profiles 

7. Click Save

Once complete, refer back to the steps to remove from Audience.
