Marketing Cloud Contact Delete on Lead synchronized data extension deletes converted contact

Описание
When a contact delete is completed in the Marketing Cloud against the Lead_Salesforce synchronized data extension, contacts whose contact key are ContactIDs are deleted instead of LeadIDs. The deleted Contacts were converted from Leads.
Решение
The Lead_Salesforce data extension uses the field _ContactKey as its sendable relationship field. When a lead is converted in Salesforce, data sync will overwrite the _ContactKey with the ContactID instead of the LeadID.

To prevent a deletion on the Lead_Salesforce data extension from deleting converted contacts, query the Lead_Salesforce data extension to its own data extension where the ID field is set up as the sendable relationship field rather than the _ContactKey field and then run this resulting data extension through contact delete. Before deleting records from synchronized data sources in Marketing Cloud, delete contact records from Sales or Service Cloud before deleting contacts in Marketing Cloud to prevent the records from being reintroduced as described in Implement Synchronized Data Sources Best Practices.
