Knowledge tab not available after Lightning Knowledge Migration Tool ran

After running the Lightning Knowledge Migration Tool, the Knowledge tab may be missing.

It is possible that the tab is named differently. To find out what is the correct name of the tab after running the Lightning Knowledge Migration Tool, do the following:
  1. Switch to Classic.
  2. Go to Setup | Customize | Knowledge | Knowledge Object Setup
  3. Check the Object Name under Knowledge Base Detail section.

The object name on the Knowledge Base Detail will be the name of the tab. If you are not able to see that tab in your list of tabs in Lightning, you would need to create the Knowledge tab by doing the following:
  1. Navigate to Setup | User Interface | Tabs
  2. Click New on Custom Object Tabs section.
  3. Select Knowledge for the object then click on Next.
  4. Select which apps should have this enabled.
