Error "Unable to Get Folder Contents" in Salesforce Maps

This article explains how to fix the "Unable to Get Folder Contents" error in Salesforce Maps.

Prerequisites

• Create folders for Map Layers

You may notice the below error on loading Salesforce Maps. This folder error is usually caused by having a folder set as the default folder that has since been deleted.

Folder Error: Unable to get folder contents

To fix this error, set a new folder as the default folder by following the steps below:

1. Hover over the 3 vertical dots on the folder you would like to set as the default folder.
2. Select Set as Default Folder.
