Create Email Template Folder in Lightning Experience

This feature is available to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

 

  1. In order to create folder in your organization, Folders and Enhanced Sharing should be enabled. See Enable Folders and Enhanced Sharing for Email Templates  and Select Which Users Can Create and Share Email Template Folders for reference.

Steps to create an email template folder:

 

1. Click the App Launcher.
2. Search for Email Template.
3. Click Email Templates
4. In the upper right corner, click New Folder.
5. Enter value for Folder Label.
6. Click Save.

Note: If you don't see New Folder option, you probably don't have the permission Create Folders for Lightning Email Templates. Check with the System Administrator to make sure you have the necessary permission.
