System generated posts in Chatter Streams do not send email notification

When feed tracking is enabled for an object and the record is updated, a system-generated Chatter post may be created.

This Chatter post will also be visible in Chatter Streams where the record is added however, despite having "Every Post" checked for the stream notifications, no email is sent.
 
Ratkaisu

This is currently a known limitation with Chatter Streams and posts for feed tracked changes are not expected to generate email notifications in Streams.

If you'd like to see this functionality added, please consider creating or voting on an Idea.
