Configure the Contacts Without Channel Address extract type

The 'Contacts Without Channel Address' is an extract type and is available without Support activating the feature. 

Unlike other Data Extracts, this type will output directly to a Data Extension. When configuring the Data Extract, the field 'File Naming Pattern' is a required filed, however it does not control the output of data from the extract or the naming pattern of the Data Extension.

When starting the Data Extract, if an FTP User is not yet created for the Account, an error will be presented. 

Navigate to the Enterprise Account in order to configure the Contacts Without Channel Address Data Extract as no records will be returned if configured within a Child Business Unit.
Løsning
  • Add any File Naming Pattern to the 'Contacts Without Channel Address' Extract configuration
  • During setup, the Configuration section will be blank. This is expected, so click "next" to move on to the next section
  • Find the 'Contacts Without Channel Address' Data Extension under the root Data Extension folder

To avoid errors while starting the Extract, please create an FTP User in the Enterprise MID if one does not already exist:
