Locating Images Stored in Experience Cloud Rich Content Editor Component

Fecha de publicación: Apr 2, 2026
Descripción

When using Salesforce Experience Cloud, images added to a Rich Content Editor component are stored in different locations depending on the type of community. For most Experience Cloud sites, images are stored in the Asset Library. In Aloha Communities, images added through a Rich Content Editor component are stored in Site.com Studio, a web content management tool within Salesforce. Users are often unable to locate these images because they look for them in the Asset Library, where they do not exist for Aloha Communities

Important: These steps apply specifically to Aloha Communities and images added via the Rich Content Editor component. If you do not see the images after clicking Images, they may have been deleted, or you may lack the necessary permissions to view the Site.com Studio assets.

Images in Rich Content Editor component in Experience Cloud are stored in the Asset library, except for Aloha Communities. Note: Aloha communities do not have Content Management and Asset libraries. If you add an image on a rich text field, the image will be stored in the community's Site.com Studio.

To locate the images:

  1. Navigate to the Experience Workspace of the Experience Cloud.
  2. Click on Administration tile.
  3. Click on Pages.
  4. Click on Go to Site.com Studio.
  5. Click on Assets.
