Marketing Cloud Engagement - System Generated Automations

The goal of this article is to explain the existence of system-generated Automations when various Marketing Cloud products are activated.

When Marketing Cloud Einstein / intelligence reporting is activated, system-generated Automations will be created in Automation Studio to allow it to process the send data from your business unit.

Note: Allow a few days to complete the analysis after activation of Einstein products within Marketing Cloud.

The following Automations should not be edited or deleted.

Main Automation

  • This automation sends CURRENT data to the Data Scientists for scoring and is an important component of the Einstein application.

  • This Automation should run nightly, at a predefined schedule.

  • “PSMain” will be appended to the end of the automation name

 

Historical Automation

  • This Automation sends HISTORICAL data to the Data Scientists for scoring and is an important component of the Einstein application.

  • This Automation should run once, at the beginning of adopting Einstein products.

  • “PSHist#01” appended to the end of the automation name
