Account Engagement Error: 'Warning! You have exceeded your Database limit of (#) mailable prospects'

Udgivelsesdato: Sep 30, 2025
Beskrivelse

How can we check to make sure we are under the database limit?

Methods to check how many mailable prospects are in the database:
1) Check under account usage and limits page.
- In pi.pardot.com: Settings (gear icon on top-right corner) > Click Usage and Limits tab > Check line for Mailable Database (link shortcut)
- In Lightning: Click Account Engagement Settings > Click Usage and Limits tabs > Check line for Mailable Database

2) Go to Prospects List
- In pi.pardot.com: Prospects > Prospect List > Change View dropdown to Mailable Prospects :: All time (link shortcut)
- In Lightning: Select Prospects > Change View dropdown to Mailable Prospects

#1 doesn’t update in real time.
#2 provides an accurate representation of what the total number is.

If you wish to further discuss your database limits, or any other account-related issues, we recommend reaching out to your Account Engagement Account Executive.
Løsning
If you are under your limit, but the warning message is still present, it means that the system hasn't updated its count yet. Sometimes the database can take up to 24 hours to reflect the changes made. The database checker only updates one time a day. It can take up to 24 hours for the number on the usage table to update and the error message to clear. If the message still doesn’t disappear after the allotted time, contact Account Engagement Support.

If you aren’t able to meet the limit, you can either:
1) Contact your Account Executive to go over upgrade options or
2) Reduce the number of mailable prospects.
