Enable Contacts with Multiple Accounts

Enabling the Contacts to Multiple Accounts feature in Salesforce allows administrators to associate a single Contact record with multiple Account records using the Account Contact Relationship object. This is particularly useful for sales teams managing contacts who work across multiple companies or organizations

 

Ratkaisu

In the event your organization does not have the ability to configure this feature please take the following steps: 


Request feature enablement from Salesforce Support

1. Have a System Administrator create a case with Salesforce Customer Support
2. In the case details, include:

  • Your business case or justification.
  • The organization ID for which you want the feature enabled.
  • The text: Feature requested: Enable Contacts with Multiple Accounts 
 
Notes:
  • Field Tracking for Tasks, the fields Name and Related to are not included in the available field to track after enabling Contacts with Multiple Accounts.
  • The option to "Allow users to relate a contact to multiple accounts" is generally available on Setup's Account Settings. For more information, see documentation for Contacts to Multiple Accounts.
