Follow the steps below in order to provide the Gmail Integration log files to Salesforce Support for further troubleshooting.
1. In Chrome Select the Extensions icon next to the Address bar
2. To the right of the Salesforce icon select the 3 dots
3. Select manage extension
Alternatively
- Navigate to the 3 dots to the right of your Google profile icon and select Extensions | Manage Extensions
- Here select "Details" from the Salesforce extension and follow the below
4. Select to pop out "Extension options"
5. You will prompted with a pop-up to choose an environment
6. Pick the Environment you would like to download the log for
7. Please select "Enable verbose logging" in this pop-up as well
8. Click Download logs
9. A ".txt" file will be downloaded in to your computer
10. Attach this file to the case or email it to your Salesforce Support agent.
- The downloaded file name should start with Logs- and then the Day, Month and the time the file is downloaded.
- Example log file name: logs-Mon Aug 31 2020 14_30_32 GMT-0700 (Pacific Daylight Time)
