Error 'URL No Longer Exists' on Experience Site after sandbox refresh

Publish Date: Oct 16, 2024
Description
Experience Sites in newly refreshed sandboxes will need to be re-published in their newly refreshed sandbox before the URL will be available for use. This is a known limitation.

NOTE: The status of the site will show the site as published in Experience Builder after the sandbox refresh.

Resolution
To publish your Experience Site please do the following:

In Salesforce Classic:
  1. Go to Setup
  2. In Quick Find type "All Sites"
  3. Select "All Sites"
  4. Click Builder
  5. Click the button Publish

In Salesforce Lightning Experience:
  1. Go to Gear Icon | Setup
  2. In Quick Find Type "All Sites"
  3. Click "All Sites"
  4. Select Builder
  5. Publish
Check to confirm if the site now loads by accessing the published site.

If the error persists after fully publishing the site in a sandbox, please contact Salesforce Support.
