As documented in this article, Data Sync and Connections adds a layer of validation to dataflows when initially enabled and when any dataflow is created or updated after Replication has been enabled. This can have an impact on the objects and fields visible in the Dataflow Editor.
The objects and fields available in the Dataflow Editor are based on the visibility of the logged-in user. This may include Unsupported Salesforce Objects and Fields or fields that are not visible to the Integration User. Selecting these objects and fields will result in errors related to unavailable objects and fields when the dataflow runs.
The objects and fields available in the Dataflow Editor are based on the overlapping visibility of the logged-in user and the Integration User. This will only include objects and fields that can be digested into datasets.
To prevent unsupported or inaccessible objects and fields from appearing in the Dataflow Editor, Enable Data Sync and Connections.
