Basic troubleshooting steps for Safari Browser:

1. Browsers retain a lot of information over time, and while most browsers are configured to clear things like cookies and cache periodically, a build up of these can cause issues with logging into websites and page rendering. To resolve this, follow the steps to Clear Cache and Cookies in Safari, which can be found in the If Safari doesn't load a page or website items are missing help page.

2. Redirect Errors can also cause issues in Safari. To resolve, clear the history by following Apple's instructions here
Please remember to force-quit Safari after making these changes.

3. Extensions and add-ons can also cause issues while rendering pages in Salesforce. To resolve, follow the instructions in Removing and disabling Extensions in SafariOnce the offending extension has been isolated, contact the company that produced the extension.

4. For issues with popup windows requesting permission to visit another website, please follow these steps:

a  With the Salesforce window selected, click Safari > Settings for This Website.
b. Set Pop-up Windows to Allow.

Additional Notes:

  1. If the issue is still unresolved and cannot be reproduced on other machines, contact your IT team or administrator and reference this article.  Issues can be caused by a group policy setting, antivirus, or other software interfering with Salesforce.
  2. If you are unable to upgrade to the supported browsers or operating system versions in the Technical Requirements article, and continue to experience issues, we suggest reaching out to your IT team or administrator for assistance learning how to meet the supported requirements.
