There are two ways to bulk reset prospect grades using automation rules: change the prospect profile, and unmatch profile criteria. This article walks through both methods.
To learn more about profiles, see Using Profiles to Grade Prospects.
Use this method if you want to bulk-reset a group of prospects that match certain criteria, and you do not plan to re-apply the original profile in the future
1. Create a brand-new profile.
2. Create an automation rule, and select matching rules to find all prospects whose grade you want to reset.
3. Set the automation rule’s action to Change Prospect Profile, and choose your new profile.
Note that if a prospect’s profile is ever changed back to the original, Account Engagement will reapply the previous grade.
Use this method if you don’t want to change prospect profiles, but want to reset prospect grades.
1. Create an automation rule, and select matching rules to find all prospects whose profile criteria you want to reset.
2. Set the automation rule’s action to Change profile criteria | <profile name> | <profile critera> | Not known.
3. Add an action for each profile criteria you want to reset.
