Show the “Copy Billing Address to Shipping Address” link on Account, Contact, or Order in Classic.

Salesforce provides a link that allows users to quickly copy address information (for example, Billing to Shipping) when editing records.

Although this feature is available by default on Account, Contact, and Order page layouts, the link only appears when the section header for the address fields is enabled. If the section header is hidden, the link won’t be displayed.

Lösning

 

This issue occurs when the section header is not enabled for the address section in the page layout.

To display the link, enable the section header using the steps below:

In Salesforce Classic

  1. Go to Setup → Customize → select Accounts, Contacts, or Orders → Page Layouts.
  2. Click Edit next to the desired page layout.
  3. Locate the Address Information section (Billing/Shipping or Mailing/Other Address).
  4. Click the wrench icon on the section.
  5. Select Edit Page (to display the section header).
  6. Click OK, then Save.
  7. Edit a record to verify the Copy Billing Address to Shipping Address link is visible.

In Lightning Experience (Layout Configuration)

  1. Go to Setup → Object Manager → select Account, Contact, or Order.
  2. Click Page Layouts and select Edit on the layout.
  3. Find the Address Information section.
  4. Click the wrench icon on the section.
  5. Enable Edit Page.
  6. Click OK, then Save.

Notes:

  • The “Copy Billing Address to Shipping Address” link is only available in Salesforce Classic during record edit.
  • Even if configured in Lightning Experience, the link will not appear in the Lightning UI.
