Salesforce CPQ Summer ’19 change in behavior for Price Action formula fields

Fecha de publicación: Apr 16, 2025
Descripción

In Salesforce CPQ Summer '19 (version 220), a fix was released for the Known Issue, When Percent is used in a Formula in a Price Action to inject to another Percent field the result is divided by 100. Previously, when the Price Action formula field referenced a percent field, it had to be multiplied by 100 to pass the correct value. However, Price Action formulas no longer require the need to be multiplied by 100 to calculate the correct value.

Solución

Review the Price Action logic and remove the multiplication logic used on a percent field value referenced in a Price Action formula.

  1. Navigate to Price Rules and select a rule that contains Price Action references to a percent field within a Price Action formula.
  2. Navigate to the Price Action and verify that the Price Action formula does not multiply the value by 100. If it does remove the multiplication step from the Price Action formula.
  3. Create a Quote, add a Quote Line that meets the Price Rule's conditions and verify the Percent field is populated correctly.
