To resolve this error, remove the Related List component that references the unavailable object from the Lightning record page using the Lightning App Builder. The component causing the error is typically flagged with the message: "This related list cannot be displayed because it is not in the current page layout."

Remove the corresponding object's related list component from the Lightning page.

  1. From Setup, enter Lightning App builder in the Quick Find box, then select Lightning App builder.
  2. Click Edit beside the appropriate Lightning page.
  3. Look for the related list component that is throwing the error "This related list cannot be displayed because it is not in the current page layout" and remove it.

Note: A Salesforce admin can also navigate to the record in Lightning, click the gear icon, and select 'Edit Page'. The necessary adjustments can then be made to the record page.
