When viewing a record in Salesforce Lightning Experience, a user may receive the following error:
Unfortunately, there was a problem. Please try again. If the problem continues, get in touch with your administrator with the error ID shown here and any other related details. Error ID: xxxxxxxxxx-xxxxx (-1157396126)
One common cause of this error is that a Related List component on the Lightning record page references an object that has been removed or is no longer available in the org. This article addresses this specific cause. Other causes of this error pattern may exist and are outside the scope of this article.
To resolve this error, remove the Related List component that references the unavailable object from the Lightning record page using the Lightning App Builder. The component causing the error is typically flagged with the message: "This related list cannot be displayed because it is not in the current page layout."
Remove the corresponding object's related list component from the Lightning page.
Note: A Salesforce admin can also navigate to the record in Lightning, click the gear icon, and select 'Edit Page'. The necessary adjustments can then be made to the record page.
