There are 2 different Business Unit IDs that are related to your Account Engagement business unit.
The first is found within your Account Engagement UI and was formerly called Account ID. This is the unique identifier for your Account Engagement Instance used when setting up B2BMA and useful when opening a Support ticket, which allows your Instance to be located easily and avoid delays and confusion.
The second Business Unit ID is found in Business Unit Setup within Salesforce Setup or Marketing Setup. This second Business Unit ID is used when you are utilizing the Account Engagement API.
To find the first Business Unit ID (formerly Account ID):
In pi.pardot.com:
1. Navigate to Settings using the gear icon at the top right of any page OR go to https://pi.pardot.com/account.
2. On the Account tab, the Business Unit ID field is the Account ID.
In the Account Engagement Lightning App:
1. Click on Account Engagement Settings tab.
2. Go to "Account Settings " Business Unit ID field will be your Account ID.
To find the second Business Unit ID (used for the API):
In Salesforce Setup:
1. Enter “Business Unit” in the Quick Find box
2. Click “Business Unit Setup”. Your Business Unit ID will be next to “Business Unit Name”
In Salesforce, Marketing Setup:
1. Enter “Business Unit” in the Quick Find box
2. Click “Business Unit Setup”. Your Business Unit ID will be there next to “Business Unit Name”
