Update ownership of 'Notes' with Data Loader

It's possible to use Data Loader to change the owner on Notes when the previous owner has left the company. 
 

솔루션

 A. Export Notes (ContentNote) for everyone by performing a full Data Export

Running an export using Data Loader only exports Notes owned by the User performing the export. Instead, use the Export Now option in Setup to export all Notes for the organization using the Content Version and Content Folder objects. 
 
  1. Setup | Data Management | Data Export
  2. Click Export Now.
  3. Select the objects Content Version and Content Folder.
  4. Select Include images, documents, and attachments; and Include Chatter files and Salesforce CRM Content document versions.
  5. Click Start Export.


B. Update the OwnerID on the Notes
 
  1. Open the ContentVersion.csv.
  2. Copy the values under ContentDocumentId and OwnerID for each Note to be updated. 
  3. Save the copied records in a new spreadsheet.
  4. Update the value on the OwnerID field to the ID of the new Owner and save the new .csv file. 
  5. Using Data Loader, perform an Update on the object Content Document (ConterDocument).
  6. Map the value of ContentDocumentId to ID and OwnerID to OwnerID.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Finish to start the update process.
