Standard 'External ID' field on Product

The standard Product object has a standard field on it called ExternalId. This is a text field, however it has no other attributes of a standard field. 

When adding this ExternalId field to Product views the field will display as empty for all products.
解決策
The standard field called 'External ID" is not, in Salesforce terminology, an 'External ID' field. It is a Text field, but it is not indexed. You can use an External ID in place of a related record's Salesforce record ID to relate or associate records to each other as you process an upsert operation to Import Related Records with Data Loader.
