In Salesforce Lightning Experience, the checkbox used to mark Tasks as complete from the Table view was replaced with a record selection box. This article explains the different ways to mark Tasks as complete across available views.
The following steps explain how to complete a Task in Salesforce Lightning Experience depending on your preferred list view.
The Tasks tab now has Table, Kanban, and Split list views available.
The previous checkbox that would close or complete a Task from the Table view has been replaced with a record selection box, similar to other areas of Lightning Experience.
Note: The record selection box and inline editing are only available if your Task view has been filtered to a single record type.
Use one of the following methods depending on your active view:
