Mark Tasks as Complete in Salesforce Lightning Experience (Table, Split, and Kanban Views)

The following steps explain how to complete a Task in Salesforce Lightning Experience depending on your preferred list view.

The Tasks tab now has Table, Kanban, and Split list views available.

The previous checkbox that would close or complete a Task from the Table view has been replaced with a record selection box, similar to other areas of Lightning Experience.

Note: The record selection box and inline editing are only available if your Task view has been filtered to a single record type.

Mark Tasks as Complete

Use one of the following methods depending on your active view:

• Table view with Complete Tasks in a Single Click
• Split view with Check Tasks Off Your List
• Kanban view by simply dragging and dropping the task to a completed status.

Alternatively, open the Task record and click Mark Complete.
