Error 'Default Salesforce Dataflow could not be removed' when you uninstall a package

You may encounter an error when you try to uninstall a package that contains reference to Einstein Analytics dataflows. 

Your request to uninstall package PackageName was unsuccessful. None of the data or setup information in your salesforce.com organization was affected. 

If your uninstall continues to fail, contact Salesforce CRM Support through your normal channels and provide the following information. 

Organization: SFDC TEST (00DXX00000XXXxx) 
User: Test User (005XX000000Xxxxx) 
Package: PackageName
Error Number: XXXXXXXXX-XXXXX (677098974)

Note: The Error Number may change.
 
Løsning

This error occurs when the uninstalling user does not have access to the dataflows in Einstein Analytics. To resolve this, temporarily grant access to Einstein Analytics:
 

1. Create a permission set with selecting license "Sales Analytics Apps"

2. Check following permissions in System Permissions

 
  • Manage Analytics Templated Apps
 
  • Use Analytics Templated Apps
 

3. Assign it to admin user who's trying to uninstall the package.

4. Attempt the uninstall again.
 

You may also be able to review the existing permission sets in your org to grant one that provides the same access.
