Set up and Troubleshoot myTrailhead access

A) Assign Permission Set License to Users

1. 1. From Setup, enter Users in the Quick Find box and select Users.

   2. Open the user record for the user who requires myTrailhead access.

   3. In the Permission Set License Assignments related list, click Edit Assignments.

   4. Select the myTrailhead Permission Set License.

   5. Click Save.

Note: If the myTrailhead license is not available, contact your Account Executive to obtain the required license.

B) Create a New myTrailhead Permission Set

1. 1. From Setup, enter Permission Sets in the Quick Find box and select Permission Sets.

   2. Click New.

   3. Enter the Permission Set details and select myTrailhead as the License.

   4. Click Save.

   5. Navigate to System Permissions.

   6. Click Edit.

   7. Select the required myTrailhead permissions and click Save.

For guidance on selecting the appropriate permissions, see Assign Permissions.

Note: If the myTrailhead license is not listed, contact your Account Executive to obtain the required license.

C) Assign Permission Sets to Users

1. 1. Open the myTrailhead Permission Set.

   2. Click Manage Assignments.

   3. Select the users who require access.

   4. Click Add Assignments.

Important:

• Assign only myTrailhead-related permissions to this Permission Set.
• Adding other system permissions may prevent users from seeing the correct options in the myTrailhead Setup menu.
• Permission Set assignments can take up to 10 minutes to propagate and grant access to the myTrailhead environment.
