Unable to Create a New Quote Line Item in Lightning Experience

When trying to Create/Adding a New Quote Line Item in Lightning Experience user interface, users may notice the page will show as loading, however they will end up not creating a New Record.

To verify:


1. Navigate to an Opportunity record
2. Navigate to an existing Quote record OR Create a New Quote record.
3. On the Quote record related list, click on the "Add Line Item" button ("Add Product" button in Lightning) under Quote Line Item.
4. You will notice Create Quote Line Item window that does not load the page.
5. User would have to click X or Cancel to return to the previous window.

Lösung
This behavior happens if the Blank Space added in the Quote Line Item page layout.

To resolve this:


1. Switch to Aloha (Salesforce Classic).
2. Navigate to Quote Line Item Page Layout.
3. Search for a Blank Space on the layout.
4. Remove Blank Space (repeat steps 3-4 if there's more than one)
5. Switch back to Lightning Experience user interface.
6. Navigate to a Quote record and add a Quote Line Item, and confirm that the New Quote Line Item creation page now loads.
