How to Create Recurring Salesforce Tasks on a Quarterly or Semi-Annual Schedule

Date de publication: Jul 10, 2026
Description

When creating a Recurring Task in Salesforce, the available frequency options are Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly. A native "Quarterly" frequency option is not available. However, you can configure a task to recur quarterly by selecting Monthly frequency and setting the interval to every 3 months. Similarly, a semi-annual recurrence can be achieved by setting the interval to every 6 months.

Before following these steps, ensure that the Task page layout has been updated and the Recurring Tasks feature has been enabled in your org.
