After installing and authenticating Salesforce Outlook Integration, users may see the following error when clicking on emails in Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Web Access (OWA):

This error is typically caused by a Field Level Security (FLS) restriction that prevents Salesforce Outlook Integration from parsing Account information associated with Contacts. FLS (Field Level Security) controls which fields each user profile can read or edit in Salesforce.
This error is related to Field Level Security (FLS) settings in Salesforce. Salesforce Outlook Integration requires read access to the Account Name field on the Contact object for affected user profiles. Follow the steps below to grant this access.
