'Request failed with Account Engagement API' error message when using 'Send to Account Engagement' button in Salesforce

In order to use the Send to Account Engagement button in Salesforce, the user must have Single Sign On (SSO) or User Sync enabled.
Ratkaisu
1. Within Account Engagement, an Admin should check that the user experiencing the error is mapped with a corresponding CRM username and that Single Sign On or User Sync is enabled.  
2. If the User Sync feature is not enabled, an Account Engagement Admin should try disabling and re-enabling SSO for the affected user.
3. If the error persists, a Salesforce Admin should check that the user experiencing the error has been assigned the Account Engagement permission set within Salesforce.
4. In Salesforce, go to Setup | Security | Remote Site Settings and ensure 'PardotProd' is Active
5. If the above steps do not resolve the error, log a case with support.
