This article explains how to request an increase to the maximum number of levels allowed within a Data Category Group hierarchy. Data Category Groups are used to classify and organize Salesforce Knowledge articles, making them easier to find and navigate. Some organizations with complex classification needs may require deeper hierarchies to properly organize their content. For example, a global support team organizing articles by Region, Country, Product Line, Feature, and Issue Type may need more than the default 5 levels.
