Learn how to capture Salesforce Field Service mobile app device logs, similar to the Salesforce mobile app for Android and iOS.  Salesforce Support may ask you to send Salesforce Field Service mobile app debug logs to troubleshoot or diagnose issues, and the information here can assist.

To send Salesforce Field Service mobile device logs

  1. Open the Salesforce Field Service mobile app.
  2. Tap the Profile tab.
  3. Tap the gear icon (upper right)
  4. Tap 'Report an Issue' (For iOS devices) OR 'Provide Feedback' (For Android devices).
  5. Add a value to 'Describe the issue you are experiencing', & toggle on to 'Include device version information' then tap Done (For iOS only).
  6. You should now see your device's default mail client. Remember to CC others for a back up copy: your Support Engineer's email address, your Salesforce System Administrator & yourself.
  7. Tap Send.
