Proactive Alert Monitoring: Database CPU Consumption Time

Salesforce's multi-tenant platform means Database resources are often shared between tenants. Typically we would expect the consumption of DB CPU resources for today, yesterday, and last week to follow somewhat similar patterns. As a result, high and/or sporadic DB CPU utilization may result in slowness in your org and, in a worst-case scenario, increase the risk of a throttle to protect the infrastructure & ensure smooth operations continue for all customers.

The Signature Success plan’s Proactive Monitoring product will create a model of your orgs DB CPU Consumption to monitor for, and alert you to, significant anomalies in your normal DB CPU usage. Causes:

You may be seeing high DB CPU time as a result of one or many of the following:

• Inefficient SOQL queries
• Incorrect API choice
• Insufficiently configured reports, dashboards, and list views
