Characters displaying incorrectly on Account Engagement forms and landing pages

Special or international characters – like à and é and ö, for example – can appear broken on Account Engagement pages if there is incomplete or missing code in the layout template.
Risoluzione

This issue can be fixed by updating the layout template that the Account Engagement form or landing page uses. Edit the layout template, view the Layout tab, and ensure that there is a HTML <meta> tag that declares the full utf-8 charset.

For example, if the <meta> tag with the charset attribute looks like this...

<meta charset="utf-8" />

...it can be updated to:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
