Troubleshooting Household Records error in Financial Services: 'Something's not quite right. Try your action again, and if the issue continues, contact your administrator for help.'

Users may experience intermittent error messages that appear at the top of the page when clicking on the related tabs on Household records. (i.e. 'Something's not quite right. Try your action again, and if the issue continues, contact your administrator for help.' )
 
Решение

To resolve this, add access to the task "Type" field using either a permission set or profile:

1. Using a Permission Set

  • Go to Setup and search for Permission Sets.
  • Create a new Permission Set or select an existing one.
  • In the Permission Set, go to Field-Level Security and click View.
  • Find the 'Type' field under the Task object.
  • Click Edit and check the Visible box to grant access.
  • Click Save, then assign the Permission Set to users via Manage Assignments.

2. Using a Profile

  • Go to Setup and search for Profiles.
  • Select the profile to edit (e.g., Standard User, System Administrator).
  • Under Field-Level Security, click View.
  • Find the 'Type' field under the Task object.
  • Click Edit and check the Visible box to grant access.
  • Click Save to apply changes to the profile.


This will eliminate error messages for the affected Users, including the system administrator standard Profile.


Related notes:

  • These error messages appear, and then eventually fade away but it doesn't cause any access issues to the record.
  • The issue is caused when the user doesn't have access to the standard 'Type' field on the Task object.
  • Household Related Tab Examples: Details, Financials, Relationships, Goals, Related.
  • All FSC users must have all the required FSC required permission sets including Advisor access and Aura-Enabled Apex Class Access for Financial Services permission sets.
