Use the Outlook Integration with another organization

To switch your Salesforce organization and use the Outlook Integration with a new or different organization, you first need to disconnect your username in the first organization then log out and restart the login process.

Switch between organizations used with the Outlook Integration

 
  1. Disconnect your username from the old organization

In Salesforce Classic

  1. First log in to your existing Salesforce organization that you have connected to Outlook.
  2. Navigate to Administration Setup | Outlook Integration and Sync | Settings.
  3. Under User Mapping, click on Disconnect for your username.
 
In Lightning Experience
  1. Log in to your existing Salesforce org that you have connected to Outlook.
  2. Click on the gear icon then click Setup.
  3. In the Quick Find box, enter Outlook Integration and Sync.
  4. From the results that showed up, click on Outlook Integration and Sync.
  5. Afterwards, click on Let users access Salesforce records from Outlook.
  6. On User Mapping, find the User that you want to remove.
  7. Click the dropdown arrow under 'Action.'
  8. Select Delete.
 
  1. Log in to Outlook with the username for the new organization to connect to
 
  1. Log out and log back in to Outlook.
  2. Select an email.
  3. Click the Salesforce icon on top of the email body.
  4. The add-in prompts you to log in to your new organization.
  5. Click the Log in to Salesforce button.
  6. A new page loads and prompts you to log in to your new organization. Enter your credentials to log in and you see the confirmation that the Outlook Integration is connecting to your specified organization.
  7. Click on Continue
  8. Click on Got it.

Note: If clicking on the blue Log in to Salesforce button does not open the page, you can apply the Recommended settings to run Salesforce in Internet Explorer.
