Opportunity Contact Roles define the relationship and responsibility a Contact has on an Opportunity in Salesforce. Administrators and users who need to bulk-assign or import these roles can use Data Loader to insert multiple Opportunity Contact Roles at once by uploading a prepared .csv file. This article explains how to prepare the required file and complete the import process.
To import Opportunity Contact Roles using Data Loader, first prepare a .csv file with the required fields, then use the Data Loader Insert operation to upload the file and map the columns to the OpportunityContactRole object in Salesforce.

1. Open DataLoader then click Insert.
2. Click Log in.
3. Enter your username and password, then click Next.
4. Select Show all Salesforce objects
5. Select Opportunity Contact Role (OpportunityContactRole)
6. Click Browse.
7. Select your .csv file, then click Open.
8. Click Next.
9. After the initialization, click Ok.
10. Map the columns of your .csv file to Salesforce fields by choosing either Choose an Existing Map or Create or Edit a Map.
11. Click Next.
12. Click Browse... to specify a directory for the success files and the error files.
13. Click Finish to perform the operation and then click Yes to confirm.
