Reset password for users with both portal and site access

Users who have access to both the portal and site will receive a site password reset link.

After the reset, they can use the same password for both the portal and site.
 

Lösung

Reset Password in Salesforce Classic

  1. Click Setup.
  2. Click Manage Users.
  3. Click Users.
  4. Click the user of your choice.
  5. Click Reset Password.

Reset Password in Lightning Experience

  1. Click the gear icon.
  2. Click Setup.
  3. Click Users under ADMINISTRATION.
  4. Click Users under Users.
  5. Click the user of your choice.
  6. Click Reset Password.

A reset email will be sent to the user's email address.

Reset Password for Multiple Users

To reset passwords for multiple users at once: On the Users page, select the users of your choice, then click Reset Password. A reset email is sent to each selected user's email address.

Portal-Only Password Reset Note

For users to receive only the Portal password reset link (instead of the Experience Cloud site link), first remove the user's profile from Workspaces > Administration > Members.
