Veröffentlichungsdatum: Oct 13, 2022
Beschreibung

By default in Salesforce Classic, List Views for Contacts, Leads, Person Accounts, and Users display Names as "Last Name, First Name."

In Lightning Experience, names are automatically displayed in "First Name, Last Name" format which cannot currently be changed.

Lösung

Users can modify the order of the display name to "First Name, Last Name" format within Salesforce Classic using the steps below:

1. Access Users, Leads, Person Accounts, or User Fields and Relationships:

  • Salesforce Classic - Click Setup | Customize | select Contacts, Leads, Personal Accounts, or Users | select Fields | Under "OBJECT NAME Custom Fields & Relationships," click New.
  • Salesforce Lightning - Open Object ManagerSelect Contacts, Leads, Personal Accounts, or Users | select Fields & Relationships | click New.

2. Select Formula, then click Next.
3. In the "Field Label" and "Field Name" fields, enter a name and a label for your new field.
4. Under "Formula Return Type," select Text, then click Next
5. In the "Simple Formula" field, enter one of these formulas:

  • For Contacts, Leads, or Users, enter:  HYPERLINK("URL"& Id , FirstName & " " & LastName)
  • For Person Accounts, enter:  HYPERLINK("URL"& Id , PersonContact.FirstName & " " & PersonContact.LastName)
  • Example: If your Salesforce instance URL is "https://ap1.salesforce.com/" then your "Users" formula will be HYPERLINK("https://ap1.salesforce.com/"& Id , FirstName & " " & LastName)
6. In the "Description" and "Help Text" fields, enter some descriptive text, then click Next.
7. Select your Field-Level Security options, then click Next.
8. Select a Page Layout to add your New Custom Field to, then click Save.

After you're done creating your new Custom Field, you can also add it to a List View to change how names display there. For help, read our List View documentation.
