Starting with the Summer '16 release, Salesforce renamed the Field Level Security (FLS) column names. The previous column names were Visible and Read Only. These have been updated to Read Access and Edit Access. The underlying functionality of these columns has not changed — only the labels were updated. This article explains what each column name means and how they control field access.
