The `SBQQ__DiscountSchedule__c` lookup field on a Quote Line can be populated from five different objects in Salesforce CPQ. When more than one of these related objects has a Discount Schedule configured, CPQ does not combine or average them — it selects a single Discount Schedule based on a fixed priority hierarchy.
This behaviour commonly surfaces when an administrator has configured a Discount Schedule at the Product level but a separate schedule exists on a Contracted Price or Price Dimension for the same product. Without understanding the hierarchy, the applied discount may appear incorrect or unexpected on the resulting Quote Line.
