'Reset Password' Button Is Not Available to Experience Cloud Site User

The Reset Password button is not available for site users on the User detail page. The System Administrator is also not able to view the button. Why is this happening?
Solución


The Reset Password button missing on the site user detail page could be due to the user hasn’t yet been added to an active site as a site member. Add the user to the site through the following steps:

In Salesforce Classic

  1. Navigate to Setup | Customize | Digital Experience | All Sites 
  2. Click Manage next to the community where you want to add the user as a site member. If Experience Workspaces are enabled, click Workspaces.
  3. Click Administration tile then click Members.
  4. Select the users' profiles and click Add.
  5. Click Save.

 

In Lightning Experience

  1. Navigate to Setup | Feature Settings | Digital Experience | All Sites
  2. Click Manage next to the community where you want to add the user as a site member. If Experience Workspaces are enabled, click Workspaces.
  3. Click Administration tile then click Members.
  4. Select the users' profiles and click Add.
  5. Click Save.
