Definition of records in sync for Lightning Sync for Google and Exchange

The records in sync status on the Sync Status page may not match the actual number of records created and or synced in Salesforce or Exchange/Gsuite for a variety of reasons here are a few:
Lösung
  • Records in sync is not actually a metric of the records created in Exchange/Gsuite but the number of records correlated in the sync engine
  • At any one time syncing transactions may still be in progress and register as as Records in sync but not yet synced to Salesforce/Exchange/Gsuite.
  • The deduplication mechanism may sync less records than are factored into the Records in sync statistic
