Email relay click path:
 

In Lightning Experience: Gear icon > Setup > Email > Email Delivery Settings > Email Relays > "Filters for Recipient and Sender Domains" edit and uncheck all Active Filters

In Salesforce Classic:  Setup > Email Administration > Email Delivery Settings > Email Relays > "Filters for Recipient and Sender Domains" edit and uncheck all Active Filters
 
In Lightning Experience: Gear icon > Setup > Email >Test Deliverability
In Salesforce Classic: Setup > Email Administration > Test Deliverability
 


Best Practice Recommendations

  • We recommend using SPF and DKIM signing for all emails from Salesforce.
  • Require TLS and verify the certificates.
  • Salesforce has a custom header that can be used for validation - "X-SFDC-LK <insert customer orgid>"
  • For all mail that is sent through our MTA, the customer can validate the above header to ensure that it includes the customer's respective Org ID.
  • Ensure the sender address is from the customer domain.
  • Deselect the Enable Sender ID compliance box only.
  • The end user can also perform two-way TLS authorization and verify our certificate.
