No 'Identity' components in Experience Builder when editing Login pages

Дата публикации: Jun 1, 2026
Описание

Issue Description

When navigating Experience Builder and setting up the login page and the registration page, components related to these pages are missing. These components are also known as Identity components. This issue could result in the following scenarios:

  • Blank login page
  • Login, password, and self-registration components are missing
  • Login page only shows the login background image

Important Note

Identity components (Login, Self Registration, Forgot Password, Check Password, Login Error) are only visible when you are editing Login pages in Experience Builder. They do not appear on standard pages or custom pages in Experience Builder. Make sure you are navigating to a Login page before looking for these components.

Решение

Primary Resolution — Contact Salesforce Support

Missing Identity components are caused by a permission that needs to be enabled in your organization. To resolve this, you must Create a Support Case to enable the permission. When submitting the case, make sure to:

  • Reference this article via the article number or article link in the case description.
  • Include the Organization ID, especially if the permission needs to be enabled in multiple organizations.
  • The submitter must be the System Administrator of the organization.

Temporary Workaround — Use Default Login Page

While waiting for the permission to be enabled in your organization, you can temporarily use the default login page so that Experience Cloud site users can still log in.

In Lightning Experience

  1. Gear Icon | Setup | Digital Experience | All Sites
  2. Click Workspaces | Administration | Login and Registration
  3. Change the login page type to Default Page.

In Salesforce Classic

  1. Setup | Digital Experience | All Sites
  2. Click Workspaces | Administration | Login and Registration
  3. Change the login page type to Default Page.
